About Us

Electric Flex isn’t just a brand. It’s a rebellion.

Electric Flex was founded by Gavin Maclean, who lives with Tourette Syndrome. For him and millions of others, Tourette’s isn’t just a diagnosis—it’s a daily rhythm, shaped by a brain that doesn’t follow the rules.

But something powerful happens when Gavin lifts weights or plays electric guitar: his tics go quiet. In those moments, it’s like the chaos gets channeled. Focus takes over. Movement becomes medicine. Music becomes control.

That’s the spark behind Electric Flex: a streetwear and gymwear brand that flips the script on neurodivergence—what it looks like, what it feels like, and what it wears like.

Life isn’t about hiding who you are. It’s about owning your frequency, and turning it all the way up.

The Message

Tourette’s isn’t a punchline. Neurodivergence isn’t a flaw.

Tourette’s isn’t just “that thing with the swearing” (though let’s be honest, sometimes that’s part of the charm). Neurodivergence isn’t scary. It's a different kind of brilliancea system running hot, a brain firing fast, a rhythm that doesn't match the mainstream.

We're not here to fix it. We're here to flex it.

We’re here to tell the full story: that people with brain differences are creative, capable, and courageous.

We want everyone to know: whether you’re ticcing, stimming, masking, zoning out, or zoning in, there’s nothing wrong with you. You’re not broken. You’re electric.

The Mission

Raise awareness. Rep difference. Fund the future.

This isn’t about curing personality—it’s about flipping the script on what people think they know. Part awareness campaign, part stylish rebellion, we’re here to educate, elevate, and occasionally overshare.

We’re here to stand with the Tourette’s and neurodivergent community, not just in words, but in action. That’s why every purchase supports both the Tourette Association of America and The Neurodiversity Alliance—funding research, education, advocacy, and visibility.

When you shop with us, you're not just buying something cool—you’re backing a movement.

The Merch

Purpose-driven designs that give back and spark change.

Our merch speaks fluent sarcasm, neurodivergent pride, and awkward public encounters. Our products are for anyone who’s ever ticced in class, blurted something weird in line, or just wanted to explain Tourette’s without giving a TED Talk.

Our merch is bold, honest, and designed to start conversations. Whether it’s a hoodie that says what others won’t or a sticker that stands up for inclusion, everything here was created by and for people who get it. Every item you wear or share helps normalize what’s often misunderstood—and gives back to causes that matter. This isn’t just apparel. It’s advocacy you can wear.

Made-to-order. No overstock. No waste. No apologies.
